Boasting original beams and fireplaces in the snugs and hayloft, the original parts of the Phoenix Inn are some 400 years old. In days gone by when the Phoenix was a coaching inn. It is reported that a traveller murdered a young serving wench in the grounds of the pub.

We are located on top of a hill in a semi rural location in the picturesque village of Ridgeway, 15 mins from J30 of the M1. From the M1 travel towards Mosborough then carry on straight through the traffic lights for about 3/4 of a mile. Turn left at Quarry Hill - B6388. This then becomes High Lane.

Restaurant & Bar Menus

Our bar area is mainly open plan with a couple of snug areas, panelled walls and a feature fireplace. Seating is traditional and comfortable. Being a traditional coaching inn we do not have loud music, televisions or a pool table which is conducive to a relaxing atmosphere.

Patrons of the Phoenix can enjoy a meal from our excellent menu anywhere in our pub. Our restaurant area is to the left side of the main bar and has stunning views over the countryside. We can cater for parties up to 65 people and also offer a range of buffet food.
